This independently owned hotel offers a blend of guest rooms, apartments, and a superb F&B offering, alongside hosting events. In addition to a competitive salary of up to £50,000, the right candidate will benefit from a bonus package and the autonomy to oversee all hotel operations. This is a full-time, permanent role. Please note: this position does not offer accommodation, so the successful candidate should either live locally or be willing to relocate to the North Yorkshire coast. We ’ re looking to speak to hands-on leaders who can manage, lead, and operate this independent hotel, act as a brand ambassador, and drive sales. A strong understanding of F&B operations is essential. Responsibilities include: Overseeing and managing the delivery of Reception, FOH, Housekeeping, and F&B areas of the hotel Taking a hands-on approach to maintain high service standards across all departments Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation Managing and leading the team, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention Overseeing financial operations such as budgets, payroll, targets, and forecasting Playing an active role in developing and executing a sales and marketing strategy Addressing and managing any maintenance issues as needed Leading regular team meetings and encouraging open communication Undertaking additional duties as required What we ’ re looking for: Proven hotel management experience in a similar-sized property Knowledge of online room booking systems Experience in sales for both F&B and rooms Strong financial reconciliation and reporting skills A personable, professional, and natural leader Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word If you're ready for a rewarding leadership role in the hotel industry, click apply and upload your CV today About Castle Employment: Castle Employment is an award-winning recruitment company with offices in Scarborough, Leeds, and York.
