For the successful BIM Coordinator our client is offering:
1. Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
2. Day shifts
3. Permanent role
4. Company car or car allowance
5. 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
6. Pension with up to 8% contribution from our client
The Role - BIM Coordinator :
7. Support the implementation of a companywide document control standardisation process
8. Support BIM delivery on acquisitions and provide 2D/3D modeling resource
9. Support the implementation of BIM on live projects
10. Generate feedback reports on BIM best practices, opportunities for improvement, and issues to be resolved
11. Support the work associated with CAD/BIM/Document Management software/systems upgrades, testing, and implementation
12. Identify where efficiency savings, training, or productivity gains can bring worthwhile benefits, and assist in the implementation of solutions.
13. Engage with industry working groups, such as appropriate BIM4 groups and UK BIM Alliance
What our client is looking for in a BIM Coordinator:
14. Engineering or technically based HND or degree level qualification - ESSENTIAL
15. BIM Practitioner qualification - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
16. Evidence of ongoing CPD in recognised industry applications (ie Bentley, Autodesk, Synchro)
17. Must have a minimum of 2+ years experience operating in a dedicated BIM role - ESSENTIAL
18. Experience utilising both Autodesk and Bentley Systems 2D & 3D applications - ESSENTIAL
19. Detailed knowledge of infrastructure design processes and construction techniques
20. Knowledge of the methods of civil engineering construction – ESSENTIAL
