We have a vacant position for a Coach Engagement Lead of our market in Japan. As part of the Moment team, your focus will be to develop and implement strategies that bring out the best in professional chefs, helping them thrive and succeed. Fluent communication in Japanese is essential. Requirements We are seeking a UK-based Coach Engagement Lead for our Japan market, joining our dynamic team at our Bristol headquarters. Moment is a premium service in 5 countries: Japan, UK, France, Italy and Indonesia and offers an innovative way for people to learn cooking with personal coaching. As we continue to grow during our launch phase, we’re looking for a Coach Engagement Lead to empower our professional chefs and ensure customer satisfaction. This role goes beyond operational support, requiring creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for bringing out the best in others. Key Responsibilities: Chef empowerment and content creation Collaborate with chefs to create and edit compelling content (e.g., video tutorials, social media content etc.) to highlight their expertise Plan and execute engaging online events that highlight the chefs' talents, grounded in a deep understanding of their strengths and unique appeal Develop and implement initiatives to elevate the visibility and appeal of chefs, ensuring they consistently deliver value to customers Building relationships Develop deep knowledge of the problems we are solving to ensure customer satisfaction and coach effectiveness. Use this knowledge to build trust and rapport with coaches and foster a collaborative and supportive environment Operational support Proactively assist chefs with administrative tasks, including scheduling, sending reminders, and addressing urgent issues (e.g., technical difficulties). Coordinate with other team members to ensure no tasks or responsibilities are overlooked. Why you’re a great fit You are fluent in Japanese with advanced proficiency in English to ensure effective communication with team members. You have experience in one or more of the following, whether gained through professional roles or personal projects; Video Content Creation : End-to-end production experience, from ideation to execution. Event Organising : Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and overseeing events, collaborating with teams and stakeholders to ensure project success. Media Production : Experience as an editor or media producer, successfully building brands or enhancing individual branding. You have a proven ability to build trust quickly with new people. You have the self-confidence and conviction to take feedback and suggestions as input, then make your own decisions, set your own tasks, and manage priorities to meet outcomes.
