Key Responsibilities
* Actively seek new business.
* Conduct thorough research to identify key prospects and plan outreach strategies.
* Generate and qualify leads through various channels (calls, emails, chats) to ensure a continuous flow of potential customers.
* Work with the marketing team to produce compelling presentations to deliver.
* Build lasting relationships with key decision-makers to drive future growth.
* Research target accounts, generate leads and follow up on sales prospects.
* Attend sales meetings, events and training sessions to stay updated on market trends.
* Report weekly sales activity and pipeline updates to management.

The Person
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or a similar sales role.
* An understanding of financial KPIs, gross margins and costings.
* “Thinking out of the box” attitude to bring in new customers.
* Ability to make commercial decisions based on company’s KPIs and targets.
* Proven skills in outbound prospecting and lead generation.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency with CRM tools for effective lead management and tracking.
* High energy, self-motivation and a drive to consistently meet and exceed targets.
* Strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
