The role we have available within our poultry company is a varied and flexible position where the candidate will be required to work as part of a team or be capable of organizing their own time and work safely and efficiently to achieve set goals for the day/week.
Half of the job will be working across two Broiler Breeder Layer Units helping to cover staff holidays and sick days. This role will include daily bird welfare checks, equipment checks, daily record keeping, and grading of the hatching eggs in a small team of 2-3 people.
The other half of the job combines general maintenance of the farms poultry equipment, machinery, and buildings. Ground care of the surrounding area around the poultry site such as strimming, weed spraying, lawn mowing, and hedge cutting. There are also several small and large building projects to be undertaken in the coming months and years which the employee will be expected to help with.
