Job Title: Document Controller Location: Wycombe Hospital Company: VINCI Facilities Contract Duration: 6-Month Assignment Hours: 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday PAYE Rate: Dependent on Experience About the Role: VINCI Facilities is seeking a highly skilled and professional Document Controller to join our team for a 6-month assignment at Wycombe Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the built environment and a strong understanding of technical terms related to large buildings, including systems such as ventilation, fire safety, and other key infrastructure components. As a Document Controller at VINCI Facilities, you will be responsible for managing and organizing a wide range of technical and project documentation, ensuring all records are up to date, accurately indexed, and compliant with industry regulations. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of information and maintain strict version control and document management processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage and organize project documentation for the Wycombe Hospital project, ensuring accuracy and easy retrieval. Collaborate with project teams to ensure all technical documentation is complete and up-to-date, including plans, specifications, and reports. Maintain version control for all documents, ensuring that the most current versions are accessible. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational document control procedures. Provide support to project managers and engineering teams, ensuring timely distribution of relevant documents. Assist with maintaining an efficient filing system for both electronic and physical records. Ensure effective communication between teams, providing assistance with document-related queries. Support the implementation of Document Management Systems (DMS) and BIM if applicable. Key Requirements: Experience working within the built environment, particularly with technical documentation related to building systems (e.g., HVAC, fire safety, electrical systems). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong understanding of industry terminology and documentation practices for large-scale construction or facilities management projects. Proficient in the use of document control software and MS Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Previous experience within a similar role is highly desirable. Additional Information: 6-month contract assignment, with potential for extension. PAYE rate will be dependent on experience. Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 working hours
