Lincoln Cornhill is proud to be working with a registered Housing Association and Care provider in North Yorkshire to source a permanent Head of Health & Safety, paying £65,611 per annum.
Reporting to the Director of Asset Management you will take the lead role in developing and maintaining the organisations approach to strategic and operational Health & Safety and compliance.
The range of duties which are covered include:
1. To develop and maintain a positive organisational culture in respect to H&S through effective training, collaborative relationship and promotion of the benefits of good practice
2. Provide strategic oversight and management of Health and Safety operations to ensure compliance and a safe working environment
3. Write detailed reports capturing key information related to Health and Safety, ensuring accuracy and clarity
4. Utilise bespoke Health and Safety IT systems to efficiently manage data and generate regular reports on Health and Safety performance
5. Ensure compliance with the Big 6, along with overseeing other compliance areas to minimise risk
6. Collaborate effectively with employees and managers to gain buy-in for Health and Safety initiatives and ensure consistent adherence to procedures
7. Track and deliver on KPIs, ensuring Health and Safety objectives are met in line with company goals
