My client is a world leader in its field providing a range of power solutions to the process industries. As a result of internal restructuring, they have identified the requirement for a Commissioning Manager to join their team. The role requires somebody with excellent engineering knowledge as well as top-notch planning skills.
Working in conjunction with the Service Manager and their team along with the productions department, you will have responsibility for the initial planning of the installation of equipment and helping plan the workload of the team to ensure that it meets both internal and external needs. Candidates will have a track record in delivering complex projects on time using both their engineering knowledge and common sense to identify pinch points to ensure that these are delivered on time and to budget. This is very much a hands-on role, where clear written and verbal communication skills are required along with a "can do attitude". It is expected that there will be about 10% UK and overseas travel involved in the role.
In return, my client is offering an excellent base salary, a bonus of up to 15% of salary, and an excellent pension scheme with up to a 10% employer contribution.
