Role Description: Responsibility for the overall management, delivery, and development of the East Business Unit. Reporting to FM Board Directors, the Regional Director will be responsible for:
* Overall Business Unit Governance
* Responsibility for compliance with Health & Safety, Environment and Quality within the Region.
* Operational Delivery and contractual compliance
* Commercial and Financial matters.
* Internal and External stakeholder management
* Implementation and develop continuous improvement process and measures.
* Development of plans to meet known and aspirational contract objectives including implementation of initiatives and measures to support and deliver a best-in-class FM delivery.
The Regional Director will be the main contact for the East Business Unit Contracts and have overall responsibility for the relationship - ensuring client satisfaction by implementing a structured reporting and delivery mechanism. They will oversee:
* Operational delivery
* Achievement of financial targets/commercial objectives
* Contract compliance
* Stakeholder engagement
* Team development, management and mentoring
* Supplier management
* Business Development with existing client base and potential New Clients
* Maximo CAFM System development and management
The Regional Director will be responsible for organizational design and implementation of contracts, ensuring that FES are able to meet the contracts Strategic, Tactical and Operational obligations. They will be expected to take on other duties as required within the FES business, but not to the detriment of the East Business Unit,
* Ensure class leading HSE arrangements across the contact. Achieve all HSE commitments, obligations, targets and responsibilities
* Stakeholder management
o Ensuring excellent customer communication and relationships, development of a structured Customer Relationship Management process, development of close working relationships with the client's key representatives. Ensuring customer engagement and involvement in development planning. o Ensuring high quality engagement with colleagues, and suppliers, and implementing arrangements to ensure all parties fully understand their duties and responsibilities. o Development and implementation of a detailed Communication Plan for all stakeholders, customers, staff, suppliers, external agencies and bodies. o Ensure FES and Client's culture and ethos are always aligned. o Ensure a collaborative approach with all stakeholders is maintained across the contracts.
* Full financial and commercial responsibility including P+L and cash flow. Ensure compliance with necessary regulations and procedures.
* Leadership to include directing, motivating and inspiring the team and managing performance against agreed standards. Promoting and representing FES appropriately, and being an exemplar of FES corporate values
* Strategic Planning and Development to achieve long term goals.
* Effective Organisational Design, Resourcing, and Deployment to achieve Contract goals:
* People and capability development to achieve operational, commercial and financial objectives, and to meet all client requirements
* Personal development and training plans of all FES staff working on the contract
* Continuous Improvement planning and implementation.
* Conducting Performance Evaluations using agreed metrics.
* Production of regular reports on key contract activities and performance for review by the FM board. Liaison with the Client Teams to produce a suite of reports, and high-level performance metrics that demonstrate compliance with the key FM Agreement contract deliverables.
* Implementation of a Contract Communication Plans that provide proactive information on the performance and management of the contract operations.
* Developing a programme of Internal and External meetings with the Operational Management Team as well as the Client Team to effectively manage delivery of the FM Agreement and drive performance standards.
* Analysis and presentation of data to make informed strategic and tactical decisions.
* Develop New Business Opportunities within the region.
* Develop and maintain existing and new processes and protocols within the Maximo CAFM System implementing available operational system tools to manage and support all FM contracts.
Proven Leadership
* Proven ability to build and maintain high quality client relationships

* A strong track record in contract leadership with evidence of positive stakeholder management.
* A track record in delivering and developing successful FM contracts
* Extensive experience and understanding of FM Operational activity in Hard and Soft Services/TFM and Analysis and presentation of data to make informed strategic and tactical decisions.

* Authoritative presenting and negotiating skills
