Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our internal sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for both customer and supplier interactions, utilizing your technical expertise to read and quote from technical drawings and understand material specifications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role and possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities Communicate with customers and suppliers to understand their technical requirements and provide appropriate product solutions. Read and interpret technical drawings and material specifications to accurately quote and advise on product suitability. Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential sales opportunities and create technical proposals. Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process. Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure a deep understanding of the products and services offered. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical sales engineer role. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and material specifications. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - A proactive and customer-focused approach.
