Who are we?
Lumon’s mission is to become the world’s most trusted currency partner. We enable effortless overseas payments by uniting people, technology and expertise from our hubs in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and France. We are passionate about what we do, as we believe helping people achieve their goals is more valuable than just moving their money.
What’s the role?
As the People Operations Manager, you will oversee all people administration, analytics, processes and systems, and work collaboratively across the organisation to automate, enhance, and optimise Lumoneers’ experience at every touchpoint in the employee lifecycle.
So, what does that actually mean?
People Systems: Manage our HRIS (Cintra), ATS (Team Tailor) and other key systems, ensuring they are fit for purpose, adding business value, delivering clean data, driving valuable insights, and automated wherever possible. You'll cover everything from the point of offer to offboarding; working closely with the Payroll & Benefits Manager to ensure data flows correctly to our integrated payroll system and other vendor platforms.
People Analytics: Analyse key metrics including attrition, engagement, DEI, and retention, creating reports and dashboards to help leaders understand trends, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.
People Policies: Partner with the wider People Team to create, update, and communicate company policies.
Performance Management: Own performance-related documentation and system configurations, manage timelines, and oversee post-cycle administration, ensuring we’re always on-time, within budget, and maximising adoption across the organisation.
Engagement Surveys: Take ownership of managing company-wide engagement and pulse surveys, coordinating with the wider People Team and Leaders on communications, timelines, and results analysis.
Onboarding Experience: Lead a world-class onboarding experience for new joiners, working closely with IT Support to ensure a seamless process.
What else will help you to succeed in this role?
Proven Experience in People Operations: You already know how to handle onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, acquisitions, and performance management in a rapidly scaling, international organisation. You’re also not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved in other areas, when required.
Expertise in People Analytics: You're comfortable using data to drive insights and influence change. You value the human side of HR and understand the impact of thoughtful, yet pragmatic, people processes.
Relentless at Problem Solving: You thrive in a role where you can leverage your expertise in people operations to enable the delivery of big picture strategy. You're proactive, detail-oriented, and continuously on the lookout for people process enhancements.
Strong Communication and Relationship Building Skills: You’re able to build trust quickly and influence across all levels of the organisation. You're empathetic, approachable, and comfortable working with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders.
Adaptable and Solution-Oriented: You handle challenges with a positive, solution-focused mindset, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
