Main duties of the job
1. Assessing the needs of women, partners, families, and carers
2. Plan, deliver and evaluate standards of evidence-based midwifery care.
3. Providing full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening
4. Identifying high-risk pregnancies.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

5. Co-ordinating with the Paediatric Lead
6. Working with patients' families and carers, to discuss the care and condition of the paediatric patient
7. Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations
8. Checking and using specialised equipment such as monitors and ventilators
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What you'll need:
9. A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Paediatric hospital environment within the last 3 years
10. Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
11. A Paediatric Nursing Degree
