We are now recruiting a General Manager to lead one of our Motion Control & Automation (MCA) Specialist Businesses, Matara UK Limited.
Founded in and acquired by RUBIX in, Matara works hard to deliver an unbeatable range of bespoke pneumatic and linear automation products, backed up with technical expertise, market leading value and a clear commitment to customer service. As Matara’s General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a 35 strong experienced team based from the sales and manufacturing facility in Tewkesbury and a national sales team. You will have full P&L accountability and will report directly to RUBIX. This is a varied role with plenty of room to make it your own. You will effectively build and develop relationships with our customers, delivering an exceptional standard of service and identifying sales opportunities to maximise revenue growth.
The Role We support our customers to ensure they have everything they need to operate, service their customers and develop new revenue streams.
Our Internal Sales people are the first point of contact for our customers and prospects. They play a pivotal part in how easy we are to do business with, and to our continued success so get ready to be in demand. As long as you’re a team player with customer service experience then this could be the role for you!
Role Requirements
1. Generating and following up on customer quotations
2. Taking ownership to follow up with all customer queries to ensure successful resolutions to problems
3. Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
4. Keeping track of back orders ensuring the order book is delivered on time and in full.
5. Supporting on an ad hoc basis the operational team with converting spare parts, consolidating customer supply chain to Rubix.
6. Provide basic technical support across each product group (technical training will be provided)
7. Managing incoming calls into the sales office
