We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Assistant at Rebellion. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in finance. With a focus on administrative tasks and data accuracy, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. The Finance Team at Rebellion oversees all accountancy-related matters across our diverse group, spanning industries such as gaming and book publishing. This role will provide a fantastic foundation for developing your skills in finance, supported by an experienced and friendly team. This hybrid position is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a collaborative and relaxed atmosphere. Responsibilities : Accurately code and process a high volume of supplier invoices. Handle accounts receivable transactions and maintain relevant general ledger accounts. Monitor accounts payable emails and manage communications with internal and external stakeholders. Process employee expense claims. Maintain aged creditors, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding issues. Reconcile banking transactions and bank accounts. Request and reconcile supplier statements monthly. Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc finance tasks. Requirements Previous experience in an administrative, data entry, finance assistant, or accounts payable role. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong general IT skills. Familiarity with accounting software is a plus, particularly NetSuite. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication abilities and a positive, proactive attitude. A Level 3 AAT qualification or equivalent experience is preferred but not essential.
