Private Client Paralegal
Are you an experienced Paralegal with a passion for private client law? Do you want to be part of a well-respected law firm where your work makes a real impact? We are looking for a dedicated Private Client Paralegal to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will support Solicitors and Legal Executives in delivering high-quality legal services to individuals and families. You will handle a range of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, and trusts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing new client enquiries and opening case files
2. Assisting in drafting legal documents such as Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trust Deeds, Probate applications, and Estate Accounts
3. Regularly communicating with clients and third parties, providing updates and advice
4. Conducting legal research and assisting with client queries
5. Keeping client records accurate and up to date
6. Providing general administrative support to fee earners
Requirements
1. Previous Paralegal experience in private client law, with knowledge of relevant legal processes and terminology (e.g., probate, wills, and trusts)
2. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
3. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
4. The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
5. A professional and empathetic approach when dealing with clients
