Job title: B1 Licensed Engineer\n\nType: Airbus A320/Boeing 777\n\nDuration: Permanent\n\nLocation: Manchester \n\nSalary: From £45,000 DOE\n\nOur client provides comprehensive aircraft maintenance services globally. With state-of-the-art facilities in various continents, they are known for their exceptional skills specialising in extension MRO operations and modifications. They boast a wide database of renowned industry leading airlines and aviation companies, helping to keep them flying and keeping customers safe.\n\nThe B1 Engineer will take on an in-depth structures role that will be challenging and extremely rewarding, sitting within the Quality & Inspection department helping coordinate the team's tasks to perform and certify completed high standard work packages during extensive modification and production programmes.
With the opportunity to work on the Airbus A320 and Boeing 777 aircraft, this role could open the doors to further carer progression and recognition within the industry.\n\nResponsibilities for the B1 Engineer:\n\nFunction checks during the modification stages and aircraft completion.\nRemoval of major structural sections.\nWorking to fine tolerances and high standards.\nAdhering to company and manufacturers procedures.\nAssisting in the implementation of modifications from drawings and procedures.\nStage inspections and final inspection of modifications.\nEnsuring compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies (eg. CAA/EASA).\nAnalyse and interpret any technical information related to the aircraft. \n\nEssential skills, knowledge and experience required for the B1 Engineer:\n\nExtensive and recent experience as a B1 Engineer and hold a B1 B777 and A320 Licence (recent issue).\nExperience in implementing large modifications and strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components.\nExcellent knowledge of interpreting manufactures drawings & SRMs, as well as strong knowledge of relevant regulatory practises.\nAble to perform mapping and feedback of any abnormalities to manufactures.\nFull accountability and ownership of work, reporting any faults or problems as a matter of urgency.\nExcellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nEligible to work and like in the UK\nSubject to UK security Vetting \n\nB1 Licensed Engineer Training requirements:\n\nRVSM\nETOPS\nInitial EWIS Group 4; Continuation Training EWIS Group 4\nInitial SFAR phase 1 Continuation Training SFAR phase 1&2\nInitial Human Factors; Continuation Training Human Factors \n\nAbout Us:\n\nDaniel Owen is an established recruitment consultancy specialising in the placement of quality temporary and permanent workers to all roles in the Built Environment.
