Aramark UK have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic inspirational hospitality leader to join us as a Retail Manager at Everton Football Club. The impressive brand-new Bramley-Moore Liverpool stadium is set to be one of the most revolutionary and advanced venues for fan experience in Europe. Serving 52,888 fans per matchday, the mission is to set the standard for excellence and create exceptional experiences for Evertonians.
You will form part of the senior retail operations team and will support the day to day running of the retail department, working closely with Deputy Retail Operations Manager. Together you will work on the delivery of a diverse and effective, high volume, retail food and beverage operation.
You will come with a passion for detailed planning a good understanding of mobilisation, marketing, and execution of retail catering operations, with the necessary resourcing and controls in place to manage the department budget and service quality targets.
This is a full time and permanent position which will be based at both Everton Stadium and EFC’s stunning offices at the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities:
* A key member of the mobilisation team. Supporting with installing process and developing the variable team around you.
* Provide first class retail, bar and third-party concessions operations.
* Lead the Health & Safety culture across the venue and Fan Plaza, ensuring compliance.
* To champion sustainability throughout the retail department.
* Gain an understanding of delivery of financial targets and Key Performance Indicators within areas of responsibility and control costs.
* Working closely with logistics and procurement, ensure stock control and stock holding is adhered too.
* Complete regular event by event stock take and line checks with accurate reporting.
* Management and training of a large team, developing operational standards and uphold the same within own behaviours.
* Continually look for ways to optimise sales and profitability.
* Analyse all retail data both financially and stock related, enabling the senior management team to plan effectively for all events and set meaningful key performance indicators.
* Maximise the customer experience with the use and application of technology and the provision of enticing marketing offers.
* Demonstrate full partnership alignment with the client vision and Aramark values being paramount.
* Take on projects and liaise with culinary and marketing colleagues to implement continuous food product development.
* Liaison with 3rd party suppliers and contractors to underpin effective service delivery and product quality.
* Continually aware of the customer journey.
* Be open to observe, capture and act on client and customer feedback.
* Review wastage and continually look at opportunities to control, educate and reduce.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail and beverage environment essential.
* Experience in a multisite outlet, stadium or event catering environment essential.
* This role covers 5 days out of seven and will include some evenings and weekends.
* Strong leadership qualities and excellent communicator.
* Strong organisation skills and commercial awareness – sees beyond the obvious and is resourceful in seizing opportunities and solving problems.
* Standards and quality driven hands-on management style
* Effective team player, with a “can-do” attitude.
* Energetic and fast operator.
* Assertive, calm, works well in large teams.
* Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery.
