Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Blackpool Council, Childrens Fostering Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Undertake Connected Person assessments
• Work alongside Children's Social workers in the assessment of Connected carers
• Have a good understanding of the impact of trauma upon children and demonstrate within the assessment how the carers will meet the needs of the children
• Experience in writing robust and analytical assessments is essential and a commitment to work flexibly and travel within the UK as many of our assessments are out of area
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
