About The Role
Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join a dynamic and progressive pharmacy team at Practice Plus Group Hospital Plymouth.
You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team at the hospital to provide a high-quality pharmacy and medicines management services.
You will be required to provide direct medicines management to all clinical areas at the Practice Plus Group Hospital Plymouth including:
1. medicines procurement
2. distribution
3. dispensing
4. stock control and maintenance
5. conducting medicines and pharmacy audits in line with the hospital audit cycle
You will also be expected to provide pharmacy clinical services such as:
1. medicines reconciliation on admission/discharge
2. assessment of medication prior to surgery in pre-admission clinics
3. counselling patients on discharge
