We are offering an exciting opportunity to work within the Trauma and Orthopaedics Directorate. Working along side the Senior matron and the Trauma and orthopaedic Team, you will need to develop a close working relationship with Staff, Consultants, Departments Directorates and Trust Managers across the Multi disciplinary Team. We are seeking An experienced healthcare professional to lead and develop the service and workforce to drive forward initiatives to enhance standards and transform practice. There will be a requirement to work across all UHD sites
This role requires an NMC Registration
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital

To provide clinical and professional leadership to assigned clinical wards and departments and specialist nursing/midwifery teams ensuring that action is taken at all levels to empower nurses/midwives/AHP's to provide high standards of care in a safe environment.
The right candidate will be given opportunities to lead on areas such as:
• monitoring of clinical standards
• sustainable safe staffing
• ensuring patient experience is of the highest quality
• promoting best practice in the prevention of infection
• elements of transformation work
• visible clinical leadership
