Multi-channel marketers design, build and implement campaigns across a variety of platforms to drive audience engagement. You will be working within the Northern Ireland Marketing team. The ideal candidates are passionate about social media and digital content, are proactive, organised, and are eager to learn and grow within a Marketing field. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES What will you be doing on the apprenticeship? As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice you will be asked to: Manage and operate integrated campaigns across online and offline channels Use research data to inform marketing decisions, targeting, planning and delivery Publish, monitor and respond to editorial, creative or video content via website, social media/video sharing platforms and offline platforms Use data analysis to support content planning based on events, cultural moments, and BBC priorities Create impactful content using principles of design and copywriting for online and offline mediums What will you be studying? You’ll study for your industry recognized apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. The curriculum includes marketing fundamentals, analysis, planning & strategy, campaign management, content & communication, and analysis & evaluation. The learning for this course is delivered online. Where could the role take you? The apprenticeship provides an insight into the fundamentals of Marketing with hands-on experience in various departments. On successful completion, you will be able to look for permanent entry-level marketing job opportunities inside or outside the BBC. Great Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentices are those who can demonstrate they: Can problem solve with a keen interest in media platforms and TV Have basic knowledge of the social media landscape Are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment Can work as part of a team Have brilliant organisational skills and are great at problem-solving Can manage multiple deadlines and demands on time To be eligible for an apprenticeship at the BBC, you must: Be aged 18 or over when the apprenticeship starts in September 2025 By the start of the apprenticeship in September 2025, have lived in the UK or EEA for a minimum of 3 years. Be eligible to work in the UK full time for the duration of the apprenticeship. Not currently taking part in an apprenticeship scheme supported by the BBC or another organization. To apply for this scheme, you must also: Have achieved Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above or equivalent qualification. If you have not achieved English and Maths at Level 2 by the start of your apprenticeship, you will be required to achieve this before the end of your apprenticeship. Not already have a Marketing qualification at level 3 or higher. It is mainly office-based, with some flexibility to work from home. Our Audiences are at the heart of everything we do in the BBC. You will be part of BBC Chief Customer Officer Group (CCOG) tasked to ‘make the BBC, loved, famous and valued – inside and out’.
