The Courtauld Institute of Art is the UKs leading institution for teaching and research into the History of Art and the conservation of paintings, and is also home to one of the finest small art museums in the world. The Courtauld has launched its Strategy for 2024-2029 which includes a capital transformation project that will make The Courtaulds world-class artworks, research and teaching accessible to more people in the UK and internationally.
We have a new opportunity for an experienced HR practitioner to join us through an exciting period of change and will be instrumental in contributing towards our six strategic priorities.
As our new People Partner, you will bring a wealth of experience in retention and off-boarding practices. Partnering with all managers across the community in supporting the execution of our strategy for how we retain expertise and ensure a positive experience while working with us. Youll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Courtauld.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert Guidance: Proactively offer specialist HR advice, particularly around employee relations issues, wellbeing and contribute to the development of policies and practices.
Partnership: Build strong relationships with managers to support our strategic priorities, contributing to effective retention and off-boarding practices to ensure a positive employee experience.
Employee Relations: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure all HR advice is inclusive and aligned with best practices in equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Process Improvement: Develop efficient processes and systems relating to retention, wellbeing, reward and promotion procedures.
Working in collaboration with the Head of People and your team, you will be a key part in our strategy to support The Courtauld community during their time with us.
