The Computer Science Department of our High School Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Computer Science/ICT teacher to deliver Computer Science and IT across all Key Stages. Our department is well-resourced, friendly, and dedicated to providing a first-class learning experience for all our learners. The department's results have been excellent across GCSE, A-level, and Vocational courses.
At KS3 we provide ICT and Computer Science theory to equip learners with life skills and prepare others for a future in ICT or Computer Science. At KS4 we offer GCSE Computer Science and Cambridge Nationals in Information Technologies. At KS5 we offer A-Level Computer Science and BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Information Technology.
The successful candidate would be:
* Knowledgeable in Computer Science and ICT.
* Capable of delivering effective lessons to all learners in a class.
* Adaptable enough to deliver a broad range of topics.
* Enthusiastic and driven to develop as a professional.
* Effective in communicating with learners of all abilities and backgrounds.

Qualification Criteria:
* Qualified to degree level and above in the relevant subject.
* Qualified to teach in the UK, PGCE, or similar.
Experience:

* Excellent classroom practitioner (whose lessons are rated as good or above consistently).
* Effective and systematic behaviour management, with clear boundaries, sanctions, praise, and rewards.
