We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Engineering Manager. In this leadership role, you will oversee maintenance, and optimization of our bus fleet, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. You will lead a team of engineers, driving innovation, improving vehicle performance, and implementing best practices to enhance service quality.
About the role:
* Lead and drive engineering performance to achieve service targets and objectives.
* Manage engineering P&L, budget, and forecasting, ensuring financial goals are met.
* Oversee workshop operations, including shift scheduling and payroll management.
* Ensure fleet maintenance, reliability, and regulatory compliance are consistently maintained.
* Supervise stores activities, including warranty management and inventory performance metrics.
* Provide technical training and ensure ongoing audit compliance.
* Prepare and deliver regular reports on performance and outcomes.
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in PSV or fleet Maintenance and repair procedures
* A valid UK driving licence
* Strong understanding of bus mechanical systems, electrical systems and advanced technologies.
