The Salvation Army has a 65 bed Life house in Sunderland to support 65 vulnerable people who are experiencing homelessness. The contract works within a psychologically informed framework.
Key Responsibilities: The role of the Cook is to offer the residents a good nutritional and appealing cost-effective menu. To keep the kitchen running smoothly, leading by example the Kitchen assistants under their charge. Record keeping is expected to be undertaken daily and accurate copies to be filed for inspection.
You will be working with the Service Manager and Administrator to ensure services are of a high quality with cost effectiveness.
