PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTANT - TECHNICAL Andover
Salary: From £43,323 to £54,095 p.a.
Hours: 37 hours per week

This diverse and important role within our Finance and Revenues Service gives you an opportunity to join our team! Acting not only as the Council’s tax expert, you’ll also lead our procurement and treasury management functions.
We are looking for a qualified CCAB / CIMA accountant, or AAT qualified accountant, with a clear, technical understanding of VAT, local authority procurement requirements and treasury management practices. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to interpret and explain financial matters to non-finance specialists, and the confidence to liaise with all levels of staff including senior management. You’ll also have experience of leading a team, with an ability to continually develop and improve the services we provide to our residents.
