Hoop Professional Services & HR are thrilled to be working alongside one of our valued clients who are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join their successful HR function in the Cardiff area, on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced HR team and play a vital role as front-line support, whilst getting involved in projects and working closely with HR Business Partners. The role offers a salary of up to £34,000 per annum (depending on experience), with additional benefits including hybrid and flexible working.
Key duties include but not limited to:
Advising managers on policies, procedures, and employment legislation
Acting as the first point of contact for managers and employees
Supporting with disciplinary cases, grievances, consultations, etc.
Collaborating with compliance to ensure all requirements are met
Assisting with absence management, sickness reporting, and wellbeing checks
Supporting the HR Administrator to maintain an accurate process for employment changes
Overseeing payroll-related changes and ensuring all actions are completed
Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual HR management reports
Assisting in driving culture change projects and supporting organisational change
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations
Occasional travel to different sites across WalesTo succeed in this role, you will have experience working in a busy HR environment with exposure to employee relations and HR best practice. You will need to be resilient, highly organised, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential.
