Fleet Support Coordinator – Heathrow The Opportunity Join our team as a Fleet Coordinator and play a key role in ensuring fleet availability and operational efficiency. In this dynamic 24/7 support environment, your expertise will drive seamless communication, customer service excellence, and effective fleet management. Key Responsibilities As a Fleet Coordinator, you will provide telephone support to GSE customers, managing fleet availability and coordinating recovery plans. You will handle and resolve breakdowns, incidents, defect reports, and service status updates while investigating GE/GS/GSZ aircraft delays and communicating findings to customers. You will monitor and coordinate SLA recovery plans, ensuring timely customer notifications, and escalate safety incidents and operational risks to the Lead Fleet Coordinator or Call Centre Manager. Liaising with customers, you will oversee vehicle status, maintenance schedules, and repairs while processing and allocating jobs in SAP, including creating service requests and raising purchase orders. Working closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers, you will coordinate repairs and warranty claims. Maintaining accurate records of fleet movements, repairs, and service costs is essential. You will also actively promote a safe working environment by reporting hazards, incidents, and near-misses. What We Are Looking For We are seeking candidates with prior customer service or call centre experience and a strong understanding of fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and workshop operations. Experience in a customer-focused role within the vehicle maintenance or aviation sector is highly desirable. Familiarity with SAP systems and customer service operations in a logistics environment will be advantageous. You should have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
