What will you do
We are looking for a leader to join our growing Global Privacy Team who aspires to shape the future of personalized marketing for healthier, more vibrant lives. The ideal person is passionate about consumers’ right to privacy and about using data to create more meaningful and personalized consumer experiences in a compliant and respectful way. They believe that people-based marketing fueled by data is the future of marketing and want to shape new capabilities in a context of purposeful, trusted brands. The right candidate could have a legal or technology background with experience in privacy compliance advising on marketing and ad tech matters, or come from a media or marketing organization with experience in Ad tech and data-driven marketing capabilities. Strong understanding of both global privacy laws and of marketing capabilities, processes, programs, and services that leverage data are required.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Lead the support on key ad tech initiatives on a global level, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to implement an agile, harmonized (where possible), risk-based approach.
2. Partner with key stakeholders on the development and maintenance of data-driven marketing privacy materials.
3. Closely partner with business owners in review of data flows and transfer mechanisms in order to establish program requirements at a global level.
4. Collaborate with global media and data-driven marketing capabilities leads to establish media governance privacy processes and third-party privacy due diligence.
5. Regularly develop resources and targeted topical training content to educate and train Privacy Team and business stakeholders on ad tech privacy and impacts of latest innovations and external developments.
6. Continuously monitor external developments related to ad tech and privacy, and communicate proactively to key internal stakeholders.
7. Develop and share standardized, global resources on global ad tech privacy support framework for business stakeholders.
8. Contribute to relevant industry groups active in the privacy space, e.g., WFA, CGPC.
9. Provide relevant ad tech related input to support litigation claims and other administrative proceedings involving ad tech privacy matters.
What we are looking for
1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
2. Minimum of 6+ years of privacy compliance and digital marketing experience.
3. Strong business acumen and comprehensive understanding of regulations impacting digital and privacy.
4. The ability to understand technical aspects of product and technology changes across industry service providers.
5. Experience in creating training materials and leading training sessions.
6. Prior experience comprehending and interpreting data flows, and legal documents is required.
7. This position will require the ability to deal with ambiguity and demonstrate strong organizational, process and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work well between functions, across all levels of the business and diverse geographies.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to influence and articulate.
10. A highly analytical individual, with a practical approach and strong business acumen.
11. An advanced degree related to data privacy, analytics, law, or a relevant field would be preferred.
12. A current International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) certification is preferred.
