* Salary: starting £25,946
About The Role

Were looking for a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to provide person-centred care for individuals with mental health conditions, helping them build confidence, independence, and resilience. What Youll Do
* Support & Wellbeing: Assist individuals with daily activities, emotional wellbeing, and coping strategies to promote independent living.
* Leadership: Mentor and support your team, take the lead in the managers absence, and help onboard new staff.
* Communication: Work closely with individuals, families, and professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to mental health care.
* Safety & Advocacy: Ensure a safe and supportive environment, follow best practices, and advocate for the rights and needs of service users.
* Record-Keeping & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date care plans, assist with audits, and contribute to service improvements.
What Were Looking For
* Essential:
Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
A full driving licence (with business insurance) and willingness to drive a minibus.
Flexibility to take on-call duties.
* Nice to Have:
Knowledge of mental health recovery models and support planning.
Experience in crisis management and de-escalation techniques.
A compassionate, person-centred approach.
