Job description Our client is a West Yorkshire-based firm of chartered accountants with successful offices in Leeds, Wakefield and Halifax looking to recruit a Tax Junior to work in our expanding tax department. Ideally would be a college leaver with a fine attention to detail. You would be studying towards ATT qualification (Association of Taxation Technician). Job role: Completion of Self-Assessment tax returns for a wide range of individuals, Partnerships and Trusts Completion of associated tax computations including calculations of capital gains. Preparation of P11D’s Assisting with preparation of Payroll Assistance with the preparation of corporate tax computations Ensuring technical competence and accuracy of the department’s work through review Adherence to statutory and other deadlines Liaising extensively with clients in relation to day-to-day compliance and planning issues Identification of planning opportunities Any other taxation support required within our busy office.
