Job Title: Reception Teacher

Long-term teachers are working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Exeter. They are seeking to employee a specialist Reception teacher for September. The school is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. The right candidate should be passionate and enthusiastic to be involved in the progression of the school and children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of Reception pupils.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
* Support the early development of social, communication, and cognitive skills through a play-based learning approach.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour and mutual respect.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Education or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to take on new challenges.
