The School of Medicine & Dentistry wishes to appoint a Professionalism Support Officer to join the MBBS team.
The post holder will provide support for the professionalism and pastoral processes and staff in the clinical years of the Medicine course. You will support the recording, monitoring and management of wellbeing, safety and professionalism issues that occur with respect to our students using an on-line event forms system. You will organise and minute meetings, respond to student queries, and manage confidential and sensitive data, and will support the e-portfolio system.
The successful candidate will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning and be computer literate in the Microsoft Office suite of packages, familiar with e-mail, use of the internet and electronic filing systems as well as Word Processing/typing/IT qualification or demonstrable equivalent experiential learning
You will be a good communicator as you will deal with academic staff and students, and will have excellent organisational skills.
