GP Receptionist (Patient Services Team Member)

Patient Services cover 4 practice sites under Brookside Group Practice along with a busy call centre, so the work and shifts are varied. Full, thorough training is given, so no experience is needed, just a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to learn.
Please note, this role is for a minimum of 25 hours per week, over 4-5 days, Monday to Friday and is not available for remote working.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of the Patient Services Team in providing an efficient and caring front-line service to patients and other callers to the practice. Also, to give appropriate support to the clinical team to enable them to see patients effectively in their surgeries, and to the whole practice team so that the Practice purpose can be furthered by everyone.

Brookside Group Practice is an innovative, forward-thinking, large, 4 site practice working together as Earley + Primary Care Network, which manages approximately 31,000 patients. Our team of around 130 people includes many allied health professionals, working alongside our doctors, physician associates, nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, paramedics, health & wellbeing advisors, MSK practitioners, as well as administration staff.

* GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
Experience
