Key responsibilities of the Legal Secretary:
Provide essential support to a pool of Fee Earners in specialized legal streams.
Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and court bundles.
Handle calls with clients and legal professionals in a professional and friendly manner.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and conferences with precision and efficiency.
Assist with file management, including scanning, photocopying, and occasional filing tasks.
Collaborate with secretaries and the administrative team to ensure seamless operations.
Keep the Proclaim case management system updated to streamline case progress.
Key requirements for the Legal Secretary:
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in OL/PL/RTA or CN.
Excellent command of English spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
IT-savvy with strong word processing and audio typing skills (65+ wpm).
Prior experience with digital dictation (e.g., Big Hand) is a bonus.
Exceptional customer service skills and a professional, friendly telephone manner.
Highly organized with acute attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with the Proclaim case management system is desirable.
