Job Title: Talent Partner
Location: Belfast (3x per week)
Client: Tier 1 Investment Bank
Rate: £200 - £250 per day (inside IR35)
Engagement: 12-month contract
Role Overview:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will take a leading role in shaping and executing the end-to-end recruitment strategy in partnership with the Human Resources team. This position focuses on driving recruitment initiatives that support the company's business goals, with a primary objective of securing high-quality talent to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Collaboration: Work closely with HR and hiring managers to oversee the entire recruitment life cycle. This includes managing employee referrals, sourcing strategies, and diversity-focused initiatives (both internal and external, as well as through agencies, direct sourcing, and networking).
2. Talent Sourcing & Screening: Proactively source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate potential hires based on qualifications and alignment with the organization's needs.
3. Strategic Guidance: Advise business leaders on talent acquisition strategies, offering insights into candidate suitability and making recommendations for improving the recruitment process.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain open lines of communication with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on recruitment progress and candidate status.
5. Offer Negotiation: Lead the offer process, recommending competitive and appropriate offers, while negotiating terms and providing clear justification for the offer packages.
6. Market Intelligence: Conduct research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor hiring practices, and talent market conditions. Actively participate in diversity recruiting events to enhance the firm's outreach.
7. Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all recruitment processes follow company policies, best practices, and legal requirements to maintain consistency and compliance throughout the hiring process.
8. Risk Management: Carefully assess potential risks in recruitment decisions, considering the company's reputation and adhering to internal policies and legal regulations to safeguard clients and assets.
Required Qualifications:
1. Proven experience working within large, complex financial services organizations.
2. Experience with a consultative approach to recruiting.
3. Expertise in utilizing social media and other channels for sourcing talent.
4. Strong understanding of complex compensation structures and relocation packages.
5. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
