The Food Service Associate is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of their shift duties, which include delivering exceptional customer service, producing menu items, operating and maintaining food service equipment in a safe manner, and abiding by all food service and health regulations. The food service associate duties also include cleaning and maintaining the store’s appearance.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Performing all job duties with a customer-centric mindset. Customer service should always be the Food Service Associate’s top priority.
2. Handling all customer complaints and issues, and knowing when to escalate a situation that is out of their authority.
3. Performing job duties in accordance with all company policies.
4. Compliance with all safety rules, reinforcing them in the kitchen with other associates.
5. Preparing custom food orders in compliance with company standards and procedures.
6. Stocking and replenishing the shelves, coolers, refrigerators, and freezers as needed and instructed.
7. Receiving and inventory control of all inventory items, properly using waste reports to help influence future orders.
8. Keeping food service area clean and in compliance with state and company health guidelines.
9. Knowing where to find information like pricing, portion controls, preparation procedures, etc.
10. Operating all food service equipment and keeping it clean and safely operational.
11. Any other duties assigned by food service or store manager. Cross training with convenience store or car wash may be requested.

Availability:
Availability must be flexible regarding hours and days of the week. Work weeks will generally consist of weekends and holidays. Travel flexibility is preferred.
Job Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach, bend, and lift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
