The Global Office seeks a collegiate, outward looking and globally minded individual for a new position which offers considerable opportunity to work on the development of new and diverse partnership activities for the University. The post will sit in an established but welcoming, dynamic and professional team where individual strengths and skills are valued and where the development of distinct skillsets is encouraged. This new position will give critical support to the scoping, development, implementation and enhancement of collaborative activities across educational partnerships, research connections, and professional staff interactions. The successful candidate will work with colleagues in the Global Office and across the institution in academic Schools and Units to ensure we are able to continue building robust partnerships which offer valuable programmes to our students and staff, and which enhance our portfolio of flexible and diverse international offerings. In a scenario where Higher Education programmes and collaborations are increasingly varied, the role-holder will have the potential to co-ordinate and support both established models of activity and unique new developments. On their development, the role-holder will also work closely with the Head of Operations and Partnership Governance and the Partnerships Officer (Agreements) on routine contractual drafting and renewals. They will lead on the co-ordination of support for postgraduate taught collaborative programmes and be the key individual responsible for effective engagement on new project initiation and implementation. Working closely with colleagues across the Global Office and the University, they will create robust relationships internally to ensure effective operations and will be enabled to develop strong links with partner institutions in the UK and worldwide. To ensure opportunities for staff and students are enabled and effectively delivered, promoted, and monitored, the Partnerships and Projects Co-ordinator will have responsibility for development of specific regional expertise in the Higher Education sector and for provision of briefings and materials to inform Global Office activities and senior management. They will work on and will own the development of a partnership toolkit for staff engaged in international activities and will take a lead role in the co-ordination of Global Office policies and procedures. alongside other colleagues in the Global Office to ensure overall coverage of key areas internationally. They will draft and compile content for publications and the University website and will liaise proactively around the institution to ensure opportunities for staff and students are enabled and effectively managed.
