About the Role: :
As part of the Policy and Employment Law team, the People Relations and Policy Advisor will;
1. Provide expert and sound advice and coaching to managers, colleagues and stakeholders in all aspects of people relations including supporting on complex cases such as sickness, disciplinaries, resolution and wellbeing.
2. Provide support for a number of HR projects and activities including restructures, redundancies and TUPE transfers
3. Focus on service and support to enable stakeholders to make more informed people relations decision-making by providing insight through data analysis of people, trends and theme
4. Be knowledgeable in Drax UK and Group policies to be able to provide advice to colleagues, managers and stakeholder
5. Write high quality letters and policy guidance across various scenario
6. Work closely with the People Development Function to deliver high quality training to upskill all managers in people management
Who we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have…
7. Strong generalist HR experience at HR Advisor/Business partner level or equivalent
8. CIPD qualified (full or part) or working towards
9. Strong communication skills via telephone, Teams and in person across various work locations with colleagues, third parties and senior managers
10. Excellent administration skills with experience of working with Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
·A collegiate approach, with a really strong ‘sense- of team’ and the ability to encourage and foster a fantastic team spirit
·Flexibility to travel across the Drax UK group to support managers and colleagues in case work (you must hold a UK driving license)
