NIHCSS are a partnership between Together UK and St Martins Housing Trust. We support adults with severe mental health issues and work with them to lead independent lives. NIHCSS are recruiting for a Mental Health Service Manager dedicated to supporting and leading a team whose vision is to help people live ordinary, independent, and happy lives through extraordinary support.
The Role:
As our Mental Health Service Manager at Bakery Court, you will play a crucial role within the NIHCSS service. You will lead, manage, and develop a portfolio of mental health services, ensuring safe delivery, meeting objectives, and representing the organisation to commissioners. With the support of a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a staffing team of 15 Recovery Workers.
Main responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and develop the mental health services portfolio
* Provide leadership and support to teams and workers
* Ensure services are delivered safely and meet quality standards
* Participate in mental health forums to contribute to strategic development
* Collaborate within the Senior Management Team to achieve organisational goals
* Oversee the management of overall operational budgetary and financial responsibilities
Essential requirements:
* Strong understanding of mental health conditions and recovery models
* Senior management experience within health, social care, or mental health charity sector
* Experience in leading, managing, and developing staff teams
* Effective communication skills and ability to inspire trust and confidence
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital media platforms
* Excellent project management, development, and evaluation skills
