Join Close Brothers Invoice Finance team where you will ensure delivery of excellent service to a portfolio of clients allocated to you and, through your endeavours, to maximise client life and income.
This role is also to help with minimising risk of loss to the company through client bad debt and attrition.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage and control your own portfolio of factoring and invoice discounting clients, primarily with smaller facilities in place; building up over time until you manage a full workload of c. 40-45 clients.
* Minimise the risk of loss, utilising risk management tools and implementing risk management procedures.
* Maximise client life by ensuring delivery of excellent service, and implement additional services where appropriate.
* Maximise income by ensuring the correct fee rates are maintained, and by ensuring additional fees are charged where appropriate.
* Obtain and review financial information from clients.
* Undertake annual client reviews, and ad hoc reviews where facility changes are required.
* Source new business opportunities for Invoice Finance and Asset Finance from existing client base.
* Provide in-house support for client managers handling client queries and requests on a day-to-day basis and to provide cover in their absence.
* Process system updates in relation to clients and/or debtors as required by the client managers, ensuring such updates have been appropriately authorised.
* Co-ordinate outgoing Inter-factor transfers.
* Obtain additional income in accordance with CIF directives and maintaining monthly records of department totals thereto.
* Preparation of internal reports as required/requested.
* Security review completion and diary system management to include covenant satisfaction and reporting requirements.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
* Excellent relationship building skills
* Great interpersonal skills and are able to communicate effectively to stakeholders and customers
* Good numeric and computer skills (use of Microsoft Office tools).
* Fundamental industry knowledge
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Strong problem solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritise your own workload
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
* Industry specific experience including exposure to credit & risk
* A history of Client Management experience
