Behavior Technician - Stafford - Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM - 8:00 PM & Friday All Day
Ready to jump in and make an immediate impact? As an ABA Behavior Technician, you'll be actively involved in the day-to-day therapy for children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. You’ll be on the front lines, working directly with clients to help them build essential life skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and reach their full potential. This role is all about action—you'll be the one implementing the plans, collecting data, and helping clients make real progress, every single day!
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading therapy sessions: You’ll be working 1:1 with clients, using hands-on ABA techniques to teach new skills and address behaviors. You'll implement structured lessons, teach daily living skills, and introduce strategies to manage behavior.
* Tracking and analyzing progress: You’ll take detailed data during every session, documenting changes in behavior and collecting information that directly impacts each client’s treatment plan. Your observations and data collection are key to ensuring progress.
* Adjusting strategies on the fly: Every client is unique, so you’ll be involved in adjusting and customizing techniques to meet each individual’s needs. Whether it’s a change in a strategy or adding new learning goals, you’ll be actively engaged in tweaking plans based on real-time data.
* Collaborating with the team: You’ll work closely with the BCBA and other team members, sharing updates, discussing strategies, and participating in meetings to review progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
* Working in a variety of settings: From home environments to schools, you’ll be working in multiple settings and adjusting your approach based on the client’s needs and environment.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
* High school diploma (required), with a passion for working with children and individuals.
* Eagerness to learn and grow—we’ll provide hands-on training, and you’ll gain experience in ABA techniques, but you should be excited to dive into the work.
* Patience and flexibility: Every day will be different. You'll need to think on your feet, adapt quickly to changes, and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
* Good communication skills: Whether it’s providing feedback to families or collaborating with your team, you’ll need to be clear, confident, and compassionate in your approach.
* A willingness to pursue an RBT certification (if you don’t already have it—we’ll help you get certified!).
What You’ll Get in Return:
* Hands-on experience with the latest ABA techniques and strategies.
* Bonus pay opportunities.
* Competitive pay based on experience and skills.
* A supportive, close-knit team—you won’t just be a number here, you’ll be part of a community that values your contribution.
