The Job You’ll Do: The Planned Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment through meticulous planning and execution of preventative maintenance activities. This role will involve conducting regular inspections, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and addressing any issues proactively to ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Perform regular safety checks on maintenance equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition and safe to use. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Promote safe work practices and behaviours among team members, emphasizing the importance of following established safety procedures, using equipment properly, and communicating hazards or concerns. Ensure that service reports, time sheets etc. are completed correctly and submitted on time. Liaising with Service Controller’s and Product Support Managers daily to ensure maximum efficiency. About You. Full UK Driving Licence. Previous experience servicing heavy, plant construction machinery or HGV’s. Proven background as a skilled service mechanic. Experienced in troubleshooting modern hydraulic systems and diesel engines. Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet and resolve issues that may arise. Excellent IT skills required with a good ability to analyse fault code data. Level 3 NVQ Plant Maintenance is preferred
