614 – IT Sales Executive
Based in Portsmouth - Reports to Director
Up to £35k Basic – Realistic £45k OTE – Year 1

Your key responsibilities will encompass:
1. Initiating outbound prospecting activities to warm leads and identify potential prospects.
2. Engaging with prospects through various communication channels to pique interest in our offerings.
3. Articulating the value proposition of our solutions effectively to prospects.
4. Collaborating closely with the Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to devise and execute lead generation strategies.
5. Conducting thorough research on target accounts and industries to tailor outreach efforts and enhance prospect engagement.
6. Qualifying leads based on specific criteria and ensuring a seamless handover to the BDR team.
7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
8. Staying abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide valuable insights to the BDR team.
To thrive in this role, you should bring to the table:
9. Proven experience as an SDR or in a similar sales-focused role, preferably within the technology sector.
10. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement and relationship-building with prospects.
11. Strong problem-solving and decision-making prowess.
12. Self-motivation and an unwavering drive to achieve and surpass targets.
13. The ability to collaborate seamlessly within a team environment.
14. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., Zoho) is advantageous.
15. A genuine passion for technology and an eagerness to stay updated with the latest advancements.
16. Previous experience in the IT or software solutions industry is a definite plus.
