Marketing and Campaigns Manager – Propositions
easyJet wants to build the world’s leading airline retail offering and we are looking for someone to come and join our ambitious Inflight Retail team which sits within the Marketing function and is tasked with delivering a completely integrated retail marketing strategy that delivers to the bottom line.
We want to stay ahead of the latest consumer trends in food, cosmetics, and consumer goods, identify and implement technology disruption and build strong brand & retail partnerships.
All of this within the unique retail environment that is an airline operation.
In this newly created position, you will report to the Inflight Retail Marketing Lead to develop and deliver marketing strategies for IFR Marketing propositions and new product launches. You will work closely with Inflight Retail Managers, the Marketing function and internal stakeholders such as CRM, Digital the internal studio and Web and App Content team as well as 3rd party agencies to bring to life marketing campaigns and creative assets for our Inflight offering, specifically related to Pre Order and Order to Seat launches and other propositions.
What you’ll be doing:
You will develop an insight driven marketing strategy, own the end to end Inflight customer journey touchpoints and analyse where and when we should be best interacting with our customers to drive brilliant customer experiences and revenue for the business.
Implement the marketing plan and managing the creative development and implementation of Inflight Retail marketing campaigns across the post booking life cycle from paid and organic media to CRM, push and web comms and any other channels they identify as relevant to execute the marketing plan. You will also identify, own and report on commercial KPIs.
Drive the marketing strategy and implementation plan for IFR Order to Seat and Pre-Order based on customer, market and competitor insights to deliver, owning all commercial KPIs
End-to-end management of IFR campaigns to support all channels for the delivery of new propositions including CRM, social media, seat backs, brochures and digital assets relating to pre-order website and air-fi closed loop Wi-Fi system that will allow support an order to seat proposition
Be responsible for understanding the customer journey, customer insight in relation to IFR, identifying and developing effective communications across those touchpoints and for ensuring any activity is aligned to easyJet’s brand and marketing strategy. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop and deliver strategies and campaigns
Through test and learn, support the launch of initiatives to drive quality traffic and conversion on board as part of pre-order and evaluate & measure all campaigns to ensure a return on marketing investment and progress against identified / target metrics
Requirements of the Role
What you will need to do this role:
You will have a minimum 4-5 years’ experience working in a marketing team, either Client or Agency-side, on a large consumer brand, ideally in a retail capacity
An understanding of the marketing campaign process, from planning, to briefing, creative development, production and measurement with good creative judgement
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience delivering retail marketing content with proven commercial success
Able to interpret customer insights and turn into a clear implementation plan
Resilient, organised and able to react to a constantly changing and dynamic environment

We typically get together 2-3 times a week at our head office at Luton Airport
