Enhanced Mainstream Provision Teacher Vacancy One-year fixed term contract Salary: MPS/UPS (SEN allowance available) £31,650 - £49,084 pro rata Part Time – 0.6 (3 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) Job share role Start date: September 2025 The children, staff and governors of Belmont Cheveley Park Primary School are looking for a passionate, highly motivated and dedicated class teacher to join our team of committed staff. Our Enhanced Mainstream Provision (EMP) provides teaching support and speech and language therapy for up to 20 pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties within a mainstream setting across the primary phase. It is staffed by teachers, teaching assistants and supported by speech therapists. We are seeking a teacher to provide direct teaching for our older children within the EMP. The role will involve teaching in ‘the base’ (EMP) each morning, and supporting class teachers in their planning and delivery each afternoon, in order for children to access the wider curriculum at an appropriate level. You will have: • A passion for teaching children with SEN • Proven experience of teaching children with specific educational needs • Experience of teaching across the key stages • Knowledge of assessment systems for children with SEN • A commitment to promoting inclusion • Good communication skills – with staff, other agencies and parents • A desire to play a full and active part in our school community, including after school clubs and events If you think you would be suitable for this post, we would love to hear from you There are two arranged dates where interested candidates can come for an informal look around the school and have a chat with Amy (Headteacher) and meet other staff.
