City 1 Community Mental Health Team provides patient centred and compassionate care to people in the Norwich area with moderate to severe mental illness. Based at the Julian Hospital in Norwich, we are looking for a caring and motivated Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurses to join us.
We are a team that prides itself on its teamwork and we value working together to meet the needs of service users. We work closely with psychology, psychiatry, and staff from occupational health and social work, and work hard to provide the opportunity to learn from each other.
As a Band 5 nurse within the team, you would work with a defined and planned number of service users with moderate to severe mental illness who require care coordination. You would have opportunities to develop assessment skills, the direct provision of interventions, and medicines management.
If you are looking for a highly functioning CMHT with caring colleagues and the opportunity to develop your career further, we'd love to hear from you!
Main Duties of the Job
When you join us, you can expect to be supported in developing your skills and confidence in the Band 5 role. There will be a minimum of two-week local induction.
We fully support staff to participate in the Trust's preceptorship program for newly registered nurses.
You would have a development plan, personalized to your experience, strengths, and identified development needs.
We host regular reflective practice sessions, training days, clinical, and management supervision.
We work Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.
