About the Role

The Corporate Affairs team supports and challenges Quilter to achieve our strategic vision and priorities by helping to build and maintain the trust, confidence, and respect of our stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Corporate Affairs infrastructure and departmental administration, as well as support with the external communications output produced by the team.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Support on specific areas of Quilter’s external communications plans, including writing press releases and comments.
2. Delivering media summaries to key internal stakeholders whilst also compiling regular media coverage evaluations.
3. Help organise department events and stakeholder events (e.g., journalist events).
4. Maintain press office infrastructure (media centre, journalist databases, PR calendar, coverage searches etc.) and manage relationships with third party suppliers.
5. Manage incoming inquiries from external stakeholders, including journalists.
6. Support Quilter’s External Communications Managers to oversee and mitigate any risks that could impact Quilter’s reputation while also supporting projects as required under the direction of team managers.
7. Coordinate media training and photography for media spokespeople.
8. Gather and report public affairs intelligence to stakeholders, manage a weekly internal newsletter, and support Investor Relations with shareholder engagement.
9. Support social media monitoring and posting of PR content.
