Their workshops are situated on a picturesque 16th-century farm, offering 300m of manufacturing capability with in-house finishing, and a showroom that provides an extensive sample library for clients. Role Overview: We are seeking a talented Joinery Designer to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-end residential design and a deep understanding of bespoke joinery detailing. Experience in project management and/or procurement is highly desirable, as the role involves close collaboration across various stages of the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Produce detailed and accurate joinery drawings for client approval and workshop manufacture. Collaborate with in-house project managers, estimators, and the workshop team to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and clarity of designs. Interpret and develop design concepts in collaboration with architects, interior designers, and private clients. Coordinate site dimensions, material selection, ironmongery, and finishes to ensure seamless integration. Participate in design meetings and assist with elements of project coordination and procurement as needed. Maintain a strong awareness of manufacturing capabilities, site constraints, and industry trends. Requirements: Proven experience as a joinery designer, ideally within the super prime or luxury residential sector. Strong proficiency in Inventor/SolidWorks or similar drawing software. Excellent attention to detail and a thorough understanding of joinery construction and materials. Effective communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with clients and other stakeholders. Working knowledge or interest in project management and procurement processes is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
