This job description is for a Leave and Absence Policy Specialist role at Macmillan Davies, partnered with a leading biopharmaceutical company. This position is based in West London and offers hybrid working.
This is a contract role for 12 months. While pharmaceutical experience is not essential, candidates must have experience in written policy and working across multiple countries.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the programs and vendor relationships of time off/leave of absence policies and other benefits as assigned.
* Partner with external consultants (e.g., global broker) and internal partners (e.g., HR, Payroll, People Technology, Legal) to execute processes related to the management of our absences and leaves policies.
* Evaluate policy effectiveness regularly, incorporating stakeholder input, and provide recommendations for existing or new policies to improve effectiveness and maintain compliance with legislative updates, local regulations, and company policies and procedures.
* Provide support to the HR Shared Services team on all policy-related benefits, absences, and leaves issues and inquiries.
* Support delivery of excellent employee experience and develop strong working relationships with colleagues and external vendors/partners.
* Seek opportunities for efficiency and excellence at every step.
* Participate in any systems-related implementations or enhancements that affect benefits systems, including user acceptance testing.
